JEE Advanced Target Course for 12th Passed IIT Aspirants
The JEE Advanced Target Course is a one-year IIT course for students who have passed Class 12 and want to use their second and final JEE Advanced attempt well. It is led by the IIT-JEE division under Mayank Patidar, a postgraduate from IIT Indore.
Because this is usually the last attempt at JEE Advanced, the course is built around depth and exam temperament: long problems, unfamiliar question formats and two papers on the same day.

- Students who can commit to an intense, problem-heavy routine for one year.
How the year is planned
- Attempt review
Your earlier JEE Advanced or JEE Main papers are analysed to separate concept gaps from format and time mistakes.
- Advanced depth
Every chapter of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken to Advanced level with multi-concept problem sets.
- JEE Main on the way
JEE Main pattern tests and both sessions to qualify comfortably for JEE Advanced.
- Paper 1 + Paper 2
Full same-day mocks of both papers, with strategy for partial marking and time split between subjects.
Built around the JEE Advanced pattern
- Two compulsory papers of 3 hours each, taken on the same day and set by one of the IITs.
- Question formats change every year: single correct, multiple correct with partial marking, numerical answers and matching sets.
- Only the top JEE Main candidates (about 2.5 lakh) can appear, and under recent rules a candidate gets at most two attempts, in consecutive years.
